Imajojuku is a place of rich history. With its beginnings as a critical position in the Echizen mountains to connect Kyoto with the Hokuriku region, during the Meiji Period it went on to flourish as a railroad town. Here, you can still feel the warm culture of hospitality fostered and protected by those raised amid perilous mountains and harsh winters.

We offer a dinner that uses the full range of seafood offered by Echizen and the mountain-based foodstuffs offered by Imajo, which can be enjoyed at your leisure in the restaurant next door. In the morning, you can help yourself to a smorgasbord breakfast featuring traditional local dishes. Take a look at the Luru's cuisine, carefully selected to match the season of your visit.
