    Concerning lodging

      What time is check-in?
      A
      Check-in is, in principle, between 16:00 and 20:00. (This may differ for plans that offer dinner, etc.)

      What time is check-out?
      A
      Check-out is at 10:00. There are no check-out procedures. Please leave the inn before checking out.

      Is it possible to stay for multiple nights?
      A
      Yes, it is. When doing so, the inn will be cleaned each day, in principle, between 11:00 and 13:00. If you only desire clean towels and do not require cleaning to be performed, please inform us of these requirements.

      Can children stay at the inn?

      Children of 6 years (Japanese elementary school students) or older may stay with us. The lodging charge for children is the same as for adults, regardless of age. As the inn is a traditional Japanese house, providing a space where young children can stay safely is difficult . Therefore, our apologies, but any younger children cannot be accommodated.

      Is there a convenience store nearby?

      The closest convenience store is a 10 minute-walk and a 3 minute-drive from the inn.

      Can pets stay at the inn?

      We do not allow pets to stay at the inn. Thank you for your cooperation. However, this does not apply to legally stipulated support animals, such as guide dogs for blind people.

      Is smoking allowed in the inn?

      The entire inn is a non-smoking area. Thank you for your cooperation.

      Can we use fireworks or barbeque in the inn garden or front of the inn?

      The inn stands in an area with many old houses. Please refrain from handling any forms of fire inside or in the vicinity of the inn.

      How many days in advance can reservations be made?

      Reservations can be made up to 3 days in advance. For reservations closer than 3 days, please inquire first.

      Is there a charge for cancellations?
      A
      A charge is made for cancellations from 7 days prior to the date of the reservation. If you need to cancel for any reason, please contact us as early as possible.

      How can I pay, and when?

      We do not accept payment at the inn itself. Please pay online in advance using a credit card.

      When making a reservation from our website, we accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, JCB, and Diners. When making a reservation with a different booking website, please refer to the forms of payment that they accept.

      We do not offer a pick-up or drop-off service, and the inn is not responsible for arranging taxis. Our apologies but please arrange your own transportation. The number for a local taxi service is as follows.

      Can we cook during our stay?

      Yes, it is. The inn includes a kitchen. It is outfitted with an induction range, refrigerator, rice cooker, frying pan, pots, knives, cutting board, plates, cutlery, etc.

      Are seasonings kept on hand in the inn?

      The inn stocks soy sauce, salt, pepper, and rice oil. The ingredients are kept in the kitchen and can be used as needed.

      We do not offer room service.

      The inn stocks drip coffee and tea. You may bring your own soft drinks and alcohol if you prepare.

      Wi-Fi can be used for free. However, the quality and speed of the signal may vary depending on your location. Thank you for your understanding.

      No, there is not. There is a coin laundry nearby, requiring a 10-minute walk or a 3-minute drive from the inn.

      There is parking exclusive to the inn, which is provided free of charge.

      Is the inside of the inn barrier-free?

      As the inn is a traditional Japanese house, the interior is not barrier-free. The bedrooms are on the second floor and can only be accessed by a stairway.

      Can you take charge of valuables?

      As the inn offers the entire building to a single party, there is no service for us to take charge of valuables. Please take care of your valuables for yourselves.
