Rooms

The design of the inn takes advantage of the layout of the old house while adding comfort and convenience.
The first floor has a living room where you can relax while the second floor has two bedrooms to allow for varied party compositions.

In order to help our guests escape from the bustle of everyday life and enjoy a moment of relaxation, we have chosen not to place any TVs in the inn. Step out from the onslaught of daily information and enjoy a relaxing, calm moment of peace.

*As the inn relies heavily on the original house's construction and room layout, access to the second floor is by stairway only. Thank you for your understanding.

Bedding

Down quilt: Our down-filled quilts use 100% of the finest feathers from white geese raised in a relaxed environment. Even our bedding has been carefully selected to allow for a peaceful night's sleep during the cold and snowy winters of Imajo.

Sheets: Soft sheets and pillow covers are made from linen.
Linen (called "linière" in French) is a natural fiber made from the flax plant. It boasts excellent water absorbency, breathability, moisture retention, durability, and longevity, making it an excellent choice for bedding.
At Luru, we leave our linens unironed, allowing them to convey their natural softness fully.

Entryway

Guests are welcomed inside by a relaxing space with tatami mat floors.
Drop your bags and let the exhaustion of your travels melt away.
The high cut-through to the ceiling provides a feeling of liberation, while the passage leading off from the entryway also serves as the kitchen. Revel in the traditional form of a Japanese house.

Bath

Experience the clean, spacious, and essentially Japanese bathroom, designed in "Dozou or Kura (old Japanese storehouse)" style.
You can also enjoy seasonal views through the bright windows.
Relax and enjoy a soothing space, with every detail down to each amenity carefully selected by us.

Traditional Echizen Crafts

You can also come into contact with hard work and knowledge long passed down among craftspeople, letting your mind range over the depths of traditional crafts.
Imajo will bring you meetings to find delicate objects in a modern setting.
