The scenery is stunning in any of the four seasons, and walking the streets, you can also see many houses with traditional raised-edges called "udatsu" along the roofs.

There are all sorts of delicious examples, from sake to fish, noodles made of buckwheat flour (soba), and plums, each providing a facet of the flavors of Imajo that have been passed down from person to person across the generations.
